Paul is a registered architect with over 35 years' experience as a project architect.  His experience includes educational facilities, entertainment venues, healthcare, mercantile, multi-family and single-family residential and industrial facilities of all sizes located throughout Ohio’s Tri-State area.  He is currently owner of Pelican Studio, LLC, which specializes in managing clients with unique projects through the design/construction process and the obstacles encountered.  Paul is a long-time member of American Institute of Architects (AIA), having served in many local capacities, and is a past Associate Director Board member of the Cincinnati AIA Chapter.  He has extensive experience mentoring Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) candidates preparing them to take the exam and conducting ARE workshops.  Paul served for eight years as adjunct professor at University of Cincinnati, College of Applied Sciences, teaching many of the core curriculum courses.  He holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certification and has most recently served his first year on NCARB’s Task Force preparing Case Studies for the ARE5.0.  He holds other certifications to his "alphabet soup" such as LEED certification for new Building Design and Construction (LEED AP bd+c) and is a registered "Safety Assessment Program" (SAP) evaluator, in the aftermath of a natural disaster will assist emergency services with evaluations of homes and other habitable structures.
